Weekly lessons at Songinflight Studio increase your musical technique, repertoire, theory, and creativity. You are encouraged to explore a variety of styles, from classical and pop to Broadway, blues and folk. If you've always wanted to play beautiful Mozart sonatas or write your own songs, this is a place to start.
Lesson Times: Monday to Thursday, afternoon/eve; Friday afternoon Fees: $75 per 45-minute lesson, due at the beginning of each semester, via venmo, check, or cash. |

- How to hear and play music by ear
- Basic music theory, including scales, chord structures and progressions
- Techniques to strengthen your musical muscles
- Interpretive skills to make music your own
- BEAUTIFUL songs, including your favorite pop tunes, plus classical works by Clementi, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and more
- Creative exercises, including how to compose your own songs
- How to accompany yourself on an instrument while you sing (optional!)
- Comfort and confidence to perform as an expressive musician
